Following the Wild Pig Trails is a wonderful book depicting life on the mission field in Zamboanga City, Philippine Islands from 1956-1959. Margie Perry, wife of Bert Perry and mother to 5 children writes stories of trips to carry the Gospel into various cities and villages. The book is filled with personal examples of everyday life in a whole new culture. Margie gives an account of their Cerebral Palsy daughter born in Zamboanga. She tells about school in a foreign country and how her family learns to adjusts. She even includes recipes for popular Filipino dishes. You will enjoy reading this book.

This is a wonderful book! I know, because I am the daughter of Margie Perry, the author of this book. She even has pictures of us in the book. (when we were kids) My mom (the author) is 90 years old now and with Hospice. She's had several strokes, but is hanging in there. My dad passed away about 6 yrs ago (in 2005 or 2006) You wont be disappointed in this book if you are interested in the life of a missionary family. My mom will be so proud when I tell her it's for sale on the web.
